Individual Actions

Change often begins with one. Be the catalyst.  I Can….. (pledge as many as that apply)

  • Educate yourself and share with others

  • Like the GCE-US Facebook page and share items

  • Tweet your support and retweet @GCE_US tweets

  • Follow GCE-US on Instagram and share how you support #ed4all 

  • Join GCE-US in a Twitter Chat or Google Hangout

  • Write a blog or op-ed sharing your story or a friend’s/family member’s

  • Build awareness in your community or on your campus in a creative way--chalk, fliers, etc.

  • Write a letter to your Member of Congress asking them to prioritize education for all

  • Meet with your Member of Congress and share why you support #ed4all 

  • Teach the Lesson for All 

  • Create a photo petition so that others can share why they support education for all. For examples click here

  • Create video illustrating the power of education

  • Teach the Lesson for All

  • Partner with a health, environment or business organization to show how a quality education for all supports all development

This year, Global Action Week will took place from April 24th to May 1st, 2019. This annual week of action calls attention to the urgent need to invest in the future of the 260+ million out-of-school children around the world.
