If you wish to file a complaint as to our compliance with our Privacy Policy, please email us. GCE-USA takes your privacy complaints very seriously, so please be clear and detailed as to all facts related to your complaint.

The personal information collected on our Action Alerts and Global Action Week Registration Form (optional if you elect to make a financial donation), is limited to that which is necessary to fulfill the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy. No additional information is collected, directly or indirectly.

If you do not wish to receive Action Alerts or other information from GCE-US, please exercise your Opt-Out right by contacting GCE-USA. GCE-USA may contact you in the event of a necessary communication exchange requested by you or initiated by GCE-USA. 

If GCE-US opts to create a Donation Form, it will collect payment information (e.g. cardholder name, address, credit card number, expiry date) required in-order to process a donation offered by you. Personal information in aggregate form, that is not personally identifiable, may be used for analytical or statistical purposes only. Personal information provided by you on a donation form (e.g. name, contact information) will be made available to the organization you have decided to donate funds to, if other than GCE-US. They may contact you regarding your donation or to provide you with information on how your donation has been used.

Your personal information will not be used for any other purpose other than stated in this Privacy Policy, except only with your explicit consent or as required by law. Your personal information will not be sold or transferred to any other third party under any circumstances. Your personal information will only be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes defined, or as required by law.

The personal information collected by GCE-US is limited to what you have provided directly. No additional personal information is collected through any other source. Access to your personal information may be obtained by contacting us.

The accuracy of your personal information is governed by the accuracy of the information you provided at the time of collection. GCE-US does not verify the accuracy of the personal information you provide, other than that which is provided for payment purposes. At the time you entered your personal information you were requested to verify the information for accuracy. GCE-US and its sponsors are not responsible for any errors or problems that arise as a result of inaccurate information provided by you.

GCE-US will protect your personal information by appropriate security safeguards. Your personal information transmissions, including your payment information, will be encrypted. Appropriate information security measure will be in place to safeguard your personal information during storage and use.

The statements made in this Privacy Policy constitute a complete and unambiguous disclosure of all personal information collection, use and disclosure practices to be conducted by GCE-US. Your access to the web site, http://gce-us.org, and any request to make a donation constitute your informed consent and acceptance with these stated personal information practices.

If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend’s name and e-mail address. GCE-US will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. Email addresses collected will not be captured or used for any other purpose.

Our site links to other sites whose information practices may be different from ours. Visitors should consult the other sites’ privacy notices; they are not covered by our privacy policy.

Like most standard web site servers we use log files. This includes IP addresses, browser type, ISP (internet service provider), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Users who no longer wish to receive our Action Alerts may opt-out of receiving these communications by following the instructions at the bottom of the Action Alert.
